My lifelong passion for linguistics and literary works began in childhood when I eagerly taught myself to read at the age of 5 just so I could read my father's books. Aside from my enthusiasm for Turkish literature, I became more and more interested in foreign languages, particularly English, which I have been mastering since middle school. I earned my BA degree in Turkish Language and Literature in 2016 in Turkey and started my freelance translator career. In 2021, I became a sworn translator and interpreter in Istanbul, Turkey while attending my master's classes. By 2023, I proudly attained my MA degree in Turkish folk literature. Over the past three years, I have provided interpretation services in diverse settings, such as government offices, notary publics, business meetings, banks, medical clinics, and more. I am always eager to embrace opportunities that enable me to further develop my skills and knowledge in interpretation. I value clear communication and treating others with respect. And I like to remind myself of the human behind each message I receive, as I believe we often overlook this fundamental aspect in our highly digitalized, brave new world.
